Samitivej PACE is a system specifically developed for patients and relatives who are undergoing surgical treatment at Samitivej Hospitals. The system aims to promote higher and more effective communication between the patient, relatives and healthcare providers. Samitivej PACE provides everyone with information such as current status and location of the patient, ward room orientation instruction, preparation before and after the surgical procedure, etc. Major features included in Samitivej PACE are:

1.     Current Status – The feature allows family members to know current status and location of the patient. Examples include “surgical procedure in progress,” or “surgery completed, the patient is recovering in a recovery room.”
2.     Preparation – To promote surgical patient safety, the patient and family members can view and download preparation instructions for before and after surgery.
3.     Room Orientation Instruction – This feature provides the patient and family members with information about, and orientation to, inpatient rooms, as well as instructions on how to prevent accidents while admitted.
4.      Health Content – The patient and family members can view information related to a number of health topics, written by our prestigious physicians and allied healthcare providers.
5.     Contact Us – The patient and family members can make a direct phone call to the relevant department(s)

Samitivej PACE can be accessed through any mobile phone or tablet, from anywhere in the world with access to the internet. The system is supported by both Android and iOS operating systems.
