Assistant Professor Chollasak Thirapattaraphan, M.D., is a board-certified pediatric surgeon specializing in liver transplantation, pediatric tumor surgery and other complex surgical procedures in children. He earned his medical degree from Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, and completed his pediatric surgery training at Ramathibodi Hospital. He further refined his expertise as a Research Fellow in Transplant Surgery at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, Northwestern University, USA.
His research has focused on liver transplantation in children, particularly addressing post-transplant infections and complications and congenital liver shunt conditions treated through surgical intervention.
