Samitivej Sukhumvit Hospital has been granted the accreditation for treatment of Acute Myocardial Infarction (Acute MI) from the Joint Commission International (JCI), one of the world’s largest hospital accreditation organization that certifies hospitals which meet international standards in the safety and quality of patient care.

If the patient is suffering from Acute MI, he or she can be confident of receiving coronary stenting within 90 minutes. The patient will receive medical advice on the change of lifestyle so that he or she will not have to suffer any heart ailment. A team of nutritionist will provide assistance and recommend the diet that the patient should follow. For patients who smoke, a pulmonologist will assist him or her in quitting smoking. An entire team of experienced physicians will attend to every aspect of the patient’s care so that he or she does not experience a repeat cardiovascular problem and to minimise any complications that may arise.
